The Future Is A Bitch!
If I’ve learned anything in lawschool, it is that the Supreme Court has all the power. With all the polls being published with Bush in a clear lead in the election, my terror level alert has been raised to RED!!!
The scariest thing about a potential Bush victory is the number of Justices he is going to get to appoint. If he wins, it is probable that within the next 5 years Roe v. Wade will be overturned, Civil Unions will be declared unconstitutional, and the line separating Church and State will be erased. http://www.commondreams.org/views04/0917-05.htm
I say if Bush wins we should take over a state, maybe Vermont (it wouldn’t be that hard), and secede from the union! Vermont v. the Union! Civil War gentlemen…Civil War!
