The more I listen, the more I’m disenchanted.  I’ve heard the phrase, “Don’t think about rebuilding while the house is still on fire.” Still, I can’t help but think that Kerry may slow the fire yet never stop it.  No matter what, I believe the house is destined to turn to dust and no matter what, it will need to be rebuilt.  I’m not ignorant.  I realize Nader or any other true progressive never has a chance to lead the country.  But I do think that Nader has a chance to lead in one thing, thought.  In my mind his relevancy hasn’t waned just because he’s standing against the party slightly left of right.  Hopefully with more of America paying attention, which they are doing, the obvious parallel legislation from our twin party system will become ever more apparent.  Maybe one day they will fall just like the twins on 9/11.  Don’t get me wrong, I believe it’s time to put a Democrat in office but at the same time this “anybody but Bush” mentality needs to shift.  The American people must look around to see the decisions offered to us in these dire times (of course my definition of dire is relative) are not what the majority of global “democracies” are offered.  Our choice is so narrow at times it’s not even worth making…
