Now I’m a bit depressed.  This list of safe v. unsafe metropolitan areas is nearly “all red” with exceptions of:

Detroit (MI, #1)

Stockton (CA, #11)

Saginaw (MI, #16)

LA (CA, #19)

Vineland (NJ, #22)

(Two on the list!? I have to get out of this state!)

On the plus side blue metros dominated the safest list with 17 out of 25!  Living anywhere in Wisconsin is your safest bet! They had 5 on the list alone (including numbers 1 & 2)!
