Portland Progressive Christians Group Forming
For anyone that lives in the Portland, OR area that is interested in meeting with others that feel that Jesus has been stolen from under you by conservative bastardizers, check this out. I am making an attempt to form a progressive Christian meet-up group that will accomodate those of us that rail against the downright mean-spirited notions of Christian conservatism. Do you believe that Jesus’ ultimate message included not the end-times, but justice, peace, humility, and love? Then come on and meet with others who think like you! Do you believe that science, history, and religion all play a part and are synergistic? Come meet with us!
The first tentative meet-up date is April 14th at 7pm. The location is still to be determined. Spread the word and make those conservatives shake in their boots!
