Interesting that most of the poor, backwards, and poor red states are baptist. Of course the influence of hispanic-americans can’t be ignored, since mexicans, central americans, cubans, and south americans are overwhelmingly catholic. The mormon enclave in the west is interesting. I’ve always wondered who those folks really work for.
