		<description>a damp february night?  sounds nothing like portland.  :)  everyone has more luck finding home/job once they&#039;re in the new place.  you have a place to crash until you find your own pad…call it the law of increasing returns (or at least equivalent)...or simply that lovely reciprocity thing.  as i recall, darleen stayed 3 weeks with y&#039;all while securing housing and job.  what is it about our generation (term used loosely, of course, seeing *i* am yet young) -- i feel like most of the people i know who are 30’s-ish  are back in school or in some sort of career overhaul.  we&#039;re exciting people on exciting journeys.  go us!  i&#039;m glad your journey brings you up here, even if it is sans famille.</description>
