For the past month and a half my Google Calendar has looked like some senator’s presidential campaign itinerary. The week of Sept. 16th I had to fly out to Dallas (Garland, TX) for consulting duties and the very next week I was in the hub-of-all-tech’ areas, Silicon Valley (Santa Clara, CA) for a conference (Innovations in Learning). On top of it all, my band’s shows filled the weekends between and after. To continue this trend, my wife and I attended her best friend’s wedding in Maryland over the first weekend in Oct. And now I’m looking at a few more shows (one Friday in Ypsilanti and one Monday in Detroit), I’m organizing a gathering at my place for my wife’s 30th on Sunday, and the band’s keyboardist is having her wedding on Oct. 20th. After all this is supposed to be said and done, my wife and I are headed up to Glen Arbor for our anniversary (which was actually in Sept.) the last weekend of Oct…
