Sane People for Nader
Ralph Nader has begun an exploratory committee for a potential new run for President. His reason to do so can be wrapped up by his slogan: “Corporate greed Corporate power Corporate control v. People fighting back.”

Obviously, with the two parties controlling everything in Washington he doesn’t have the foggiest chance of winning. But at least he can help drift the Dems’ a little more to the left. Ya’ know, less warmongering, more compassion…
I didn’t think he was going to try this time around. I guess now that John Edwards is out with his populist message and that Kucinich’s left-leaning positions have stalled, perhaps Ralph Nader thinks he needs to get in to move the debate more to the progressive and, as you say, more sane side. If there is anyone that could do it, it’s Ralph. But his last time campaigning in ’04 proved to be abysmally horrible (remember the puppets?) that I hope he’s regrouped and has a better, more serious platform to stand on aside from just blasting the Democrats. That’s the easy thing to do.
Nonetheless, I love Ralph because he’s got the best intentions for America in his drive and in his heart.
Slightly off topic…
Hillary’s shortcomings are enough to fill a blog. But I’m not going to give her that much ink. Instead, here’s an article I believe all Clinton supporters should read:
Clinton Remained Silent As Wal-Mart Fought Unions
Is that a spoof cover of Don McClean’s album American Pie?
Randy did you do that? Is that actual Ralph propoganda? If so, he might have lost a few sane points.

Yeah it’s a spoof. No I didn’t do it (though it looks like a surefire Photoshop job). I forget where I acquired it, but I originally posted it back in 2004.
I don’t think there’s anything insane about it. What’s wrong with Don McLean (just one “C” by the way)?
